Digital Transformation Program

Currently, I am supporting a government entity, on behalf of my client FourEnergy, in their digital transformation endeavours. The focus of the program lies on replacing an old CRM system and parts of SAP with a new CRM software including the migration of existing data.

The program has a ‘hybrid character’ which implies merging a more traditional project management approach for the requirements generation phase with an agile approach for the implementation phase.

It is a long-term undertaking requiring a large team which includes the following phases and challenges:

  • Requirements generation and approval of the established program scope
  • Product selection process and migration scenario planning
  • Setup of a product roadmap and program backlog incl. the required tool chain (Jira, Confluence etc.)
  • Implementation of the new software according to an agile methodology incl. user testing and deployment
  • Working with specific constraints due to its nature as a government entity
  • Migration of existing data while the existing tools are still in use
